Rangers International Football Club of Enugu has relieved the team’s Technical Adviser, Imama Amakapabo, of his duties.

The club’s General Manager, Christian Chukwu, disclosed this shortly after the Nigerian champions drew two-all with Zambia’s Zesco United in the CAF Confederation Cup first-leg play-off at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu on Sunday.

According to Chukwu, the club has directed Imama to step aside, while his letter will be handed over to him on Monday.

The 47-year old tactician led the Flying Antelopes to their first Nigeria topflight diadem in 32 years.
