And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Mahrez has caught the eye of Barcelona.
It is said the 26-year-old dreams of playing alongside the likes of Neymar and Messi.
Don Balon also claim Messi has given the green light to a possible deal and thinks Mahrez would slot in seamlessly into the team.

However, it is suggested Barca will take their time and won’t rush into a decision.
The Catalan giants have several transfer targets in mind as new boss Ernesto Valverde seeks to reclaim the La Liga title from Real Madrid.
