Paul Pogba has ‘dabbed’ for the final time.

The Manchester United midfielder has admitted that his trademark goal celebration has passed its sell-by date – and will be replaced.

Pogba has a new celebration planned for the 2017/18 season, as devised by one of his childhood friends.

The Billy dance was first used following United’s Europa League final win and it is set to become a regular feature on your social media feeds.

Pogba’s began ‘dabbing’ while playing for Juventus and brought the celebration with him to Manchester following his world record £89million move.

Asked about the Dab during a recent Esquire interview, Pogba said: “First of all, it started in America with Migos. I started doing it, because I liked the music, I liked the dance, and people loved it because they can do nice videos.

“But Dab is Dab, now it’s gone. I think I’ve done the last Dab of the season. Now it’s the Billy dance.”

Pogba perhaps said a final goodbye to the Dab when he scored in a recent charity match, rounding the goalkeeper before ‘dabbing’ as he crossed the goal line.
