The Manchester United midfielder has admitted that his trademark goal celebration has passed its sell-by date – and will be replaced. Pogba has a new celebration planned for the 2017/18 season, as devised by one of his childhood friends. The Billy dance was first used following United’s Europa League final win and it is set to become a regular feature on your social media feeds. Pogba’s began ‘dabbing’ while playing for Juventus and brought the celebration with him to Manchester following his world record £89million move. I started doing it, because I liked the music, I liked the dance, and people loved it because they can do nice videos. “But Dab is Dab, now it’s gone. I think I’ve done the last Dab of the season. Now it’s the Billy dance.” Pogba perhaps said a final goodbye to the Dab when he scored in a recent charity match, rounding the goalkeeper before ‘dabbing’ as he crossed the goal line.
